Ricardo Rivera started Junk It Plus Dumpsters out of a single truck in South Florida. As the business grew to 600+ dumpsters, the operational software broke down at every stage.
Invoices duplicated. QuickBooks fought back instead of syncing. Dispatching dozens of drivers took too many clicks and gave too little visibility. A single typo could send a dumpster’s location jumping across the map. Customer support from vendors was slow, and the staff on the other end didn’t always know their own product.
So he hired developers and built his own.
What started as a tool for one hauling business now runs 400+ companies, processes over $39M in payments, and tracks more than 20,000 dumpsters every day. Every feature in iCans exists because a hauler needed it.
